The right wheel for every field of application - A look back at the CeMAT 2014
For this year's trade fair we presented our new corporate design on our 180 m2 booth for the first time.
Alongside a selection of more than 30,000 articles from our extensive range, the trade visitors were also presented with our new polyurethane tread PEVODYN®, PEVODYN®-Soft 78° Shore and PEVODYN®-Soft Antistatic. It is characterised by a very high dynamic durability, greatly reduced starting and rolling resistance and a significant increase in energy efficiency
A particular highlight on our stand was, to our knowledge, the largest wheel in the world with our PEVOTEC® tread, with a diameter of 1,740 mm, width of 570 mm, net weight of 1.6 t and a load capacity of more than 80 t, that was developed by our Special Product department, according to the requirements in the area of mining technology, for underground and overground use.
With PEVOTEC® it is all about the corresponding intended purpose of customised formulations of our polyurethane elastomer for extreme operating conditions.
Overall we welcomed a much larger number of trade visitors than in 2011, with a disproportionately increased international percentage.
