All about mining - Lookback at the BAUMA CONEXPO Africa 2018
Along with our South African distribution partner Thuthukani Engineering Solutions, we presented our product portfolio for open-pit and underground mines at the BAUMA CONEXPO Africa in Johannesburg from the 13th till the 16th of March 2018.
This international trade fair for mining, construction and civil engineering machinery is one of the most important events on the calendar for the industry - no wonder, sub-Saharan Africa is amongst the world´s largest mining regions.
Therefore, the focus of our presence at the fair was a whole range of products which are designed especially for extreme conditions common in this indstry. Featuring especially designed wheels with a diameter of more than
2000 mm and with our PEVOTEC® tread material. As well as wheels used in mining towers and open-pit mines. The demands placed on the wheels are extreme particularly for use underground.
